Begin A New Holiday Tradition

1. Start a new tradition with your family. Set up a Christmas Eve box filled with goodies (hot cocoa mix, pajamas, christmas book, etc.) and give it to your kids to open on the night before Christmas.

2. Wrap up small gifts using white paper streamers. Slowly wrap the gift with the streamer and ccontinuethe process. Add more little items as you wrap around each layer. Secure with a sticker and put each "snowball" in a clear bag. A simple idea that adds a creative twist to stocking stuffers.

3. The Minivan Express: It's a different twist to the Polar Express -- a more practical journey. Hand out tickets to the Minivan Express and a bag of popcorn -- and take your kids on a journey to view holiday lights around the town.

Photo Gift Tags

Skip the typical holiday wrapping paper and simply wrap up your next gift with a solid color. To make it "special" -- add the photo of the person you're giving it to! I found this photo online -- although I couldn't track where it was originally posted. It's a great idea!

DIY Photo Coasters

Transfer some of your favorite pictures onto square, stone tiles using nail polish remover. It's a simple idea that can turn into a great gift idea.
