Kids Rule!

Tracking your child's height can look pretty cool inside your home. You can buy something online or create your own ruler by using an over sized piece of wood inside you home. Mark the wood like a ruler and you have a useful piece of decor in your home. If you would rather spend the money, the ruler is sold for about $157 on www.notonthehighstreet.com.

Secret Rain Drawings

This is a surprise kids will love - probably leaving them speechless as well.

Use Rust-Oleum NeverWet to create an outdoor drawing or text on an outdoor surface. Once it rains, the product repels the water leaving the artwork to shine surrounding the wet surface. Take a look for yourself!

I love taking ordinary household items and making them into creative items to display around the house. How about taking a light bulb and creating a vase out of its exterior shell. You can hang the bulbs on a tree or in an indoor patio.

Send a Hug

Everyone needs a hug!  If distance doesn't allow you to be there in person, try hugging someone through the mail.

Take a long piece of paper (or attach multiple pieces) and trace your wingspan.  Send the paper to your favorite person and pass along the "hug"!

Easiest Way To Frost A Cake

Why didn't I think of this?

If you're not good at frosting a cake, listen up! Just take a store bought container of icing and heat it up in the microwave for 15 seconds. Put it in for another 15 seconds if you find that the icing hasn't melted. Then, let it cool for about 2 minutes. While the icing is still in a liquid form (not warm), pour 1/4 of the container over the cake and let it cool. Repeat the process until you have covered the entire cake.
